Description
Kachbactin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that comprises both Colistin and Erythromycin. This combination ensures that it covers a wider range of organisms which could either be Gram-negative or Gram-positive bacteria.
Indications
Treatment and prevention of bacterial infections in poultry and livestock, including those affecting the respiratory and gastrointestinal systems. It is highly effective against Gram-negative bacteria including Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp. and Klebsiella spp. It targets respiratory infections caused by Mycoplasma and Gram-positive bacteria such as those leading to Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD). The inclusion of Bromhexine HCl as a mucolytic agent helps to clear excessive mucus from the respiratory tract. Kachbactin stimulates egg production, increases growth, improves feed conversion and is ideal as a vitamin supplement during periods of disease and stress.
